The applications for the KAIST Scholarship 2022-23 South Korea are now open for applications. What an amazing opportunity for International Bachelor, Master’s, and Ph.D. Degree Students!

KAIST is the 2nd leading University in Korea and 223 in the world. It was established in 1971 as the Nation’s First Institution. The KAIST University is offering 300 Scholarships for Masters PhD Programs and for Undergraduates. As already noted in the heading of this post, this is a fully funded scholarship in South Korea and it will cover all the costs for the scholarship.

Here, you can study with IELTS, you just need to submit your English Proficiency Certificate from your University. All the courses will be taught in English at KAIST University. This is an avenue to broaden your horizon, improve your knowledge, and study in a World-Class University.

FINANCIAL BENEFIT
The benefits are given below.
KAIST International Student Scholarship:
~ Full Tuition Fee: tuition exemption for 4 semesters (MS) / 8 semesters (PhD)
~ Living expenses: 350,000 KRW per month (for MS) or 400,000 KRW per month (for PhD)
~ Medical Insurance
Additional Stipend can be available for research assistants.

GKS Scholarship in KAIST:
GKS is a Korean Government Scholarship that covers:
~ Round Airfare Tickets
~ Resettlement Allowance (KRW 200,000)
~ Living Allowance (KRW 900,000)
~ Medical Insurance (KRW 20,000)
~ Language Courses
~ Full Tuition Fees
~ Award for Excellent Korean Language Proficiency
~ Research Support (KRW 210,000 – 240,000)
~ Printing Costs (Dissertation) (KRW 500,000 – 800,000)
~ Completion Grant

ENGLISH TEST PROFICIENCY EXEMPTION
Applicants who are nationals of English native speaking countries (Guyana, New Zealand, United States, Ireland, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada) or officially English speaking countries (e.g. India, Pakistan, Ethiopia, Kenya, etc.) are EXEMPT from submitting the EPT report. (An English Lecture Certificate is required for those who studied in officially English-speaking countries.) which is called English Proficiency Language Certificate.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
The Eligibility For the KAIST Bachelors Scholarship is as follows:
• All international students are encouraged to apply.
• Applicants should be graduated from high school.
• Applicants holding dual citizenship are not eligible to apply.
• An applicant should maintain his or her GPA of 2.7 out of 4.3 after fresher’s year.
• Applicants holding Korean nationality must have their education outside of Korea.
• International candidates who completed their high school in Korea.

The Eligibility For the KAIST Masters, PhD Scholarship is as follows:
• A candidate must not hold Korean nationality.
• All international students are encouraged to apply.
• For the master’s degree program, A candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree.
• For the doctoral degree program, A candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree/Master’s Degree.

KAIST APPLICATION DEADLINE
The last date to apply for the KAIST University Undergraduate Scholarship is May 27 2022 and For KAIST Graduate Scholarship is 29th December 2022
