Women have faced massive boundaries in the workplace, due to societal and cultural policies that impede their opportunities. Today, women are still taking apart the constructs that have been internalized over generations.
Rotman School of Management for Women in Leadership aims to qualify you with the skills to handle these challenges. In over six weeks, you’ll acquire the tools, insights, and resilience to withstand structural hurdles in order to achieve work success and fulfillment.
Developed by the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto, this program starts with an in-depth research of the historical and cultural support that have shaped gender stereotypes of women. You’ll learn how to confront these barriers, and learn verbal and non-verbal communication skills for effective leadership.
Alongside various cohort of women leaders, you’ll examine topics such as intergenerational trauma, motivational systems, and the effect of inner dialogue and imposter syndrome. You’ll walk away from the program with a leadership plan, based on your personal goals and leadership vision, ready to achieve your purpose as a leader.
Generally, this program is designed for those who identify as women and non-binary professionals. Also individuals who identify as male are also welcome.
Rotman program is eligible for financial support. The Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) funding initiative is designed to help learners access sought-after skills and development openings through government-funded loans and grants.
