Romania offers scholarships for students from other countries who want to study in its universities. Scholarship Benefits

- Free Preparatory Year for Romanian Language: If the chosen program is in Romanian, students receive one year of language training for free.
- Monthly Stipend : A financial allowance is provided every month to help with daily expenses:
- Undergraduate students: 65 EUR per month
- Master’s students: 75 EUR per month
- PhD students: 85 EUR per month
- Accommodation Support: Students may receive assistance with housing in university dormitories, depending on availability.

Eligibility Criteria
- Submit a complete application.
- Provide study documents from recognized schools or universities.
- Follow the deadline for applying.
- Have good grades, with an average of at least 7 (seven) in their last completed school year, or a “Good” grade.
- Follow the rules for submitting the application.
Please note: Certain fields like medicine, dental medicine, and pharmacy are not covered under this scholarship.
Application fee
There is no application fee for the Romanian Government Scholarship. It is free to apply.
Note: You do not also need to apply for a master’s degree separately before applying for the scholarship. When you apply for the scholarship, you will also choose the master’s program you want to study. If you are selected, you will automatically be enrolled in the master’s program as part of the scholarship process.

Application documents
- Copies of important diplomas (like high school, bachelor’s, or master’s) and their translations in English, French, Spanish, or Romanian, if needed.
- Copies of school transcripts and their translations, if needed.
- A copy of the birth certificate (or similar document) and its translation.
- A copy of the first three pages of the passport or ID card and its translation.
- A resume (CV) in English or French.
- For PhD students, a letter with details of their research and approval from a supervisor, in English, French, or Romanian.For some candidates, additional documents may be required, like proof of name change or confirmation of exams passed.
Note: All documents should be scanned in PDF format and uploaded separately. Finally, candidates must agree to let their personal data be used by signing a consent form.
