Thank God it’s Friday!

Can you feel the Friyayy vibes? Let’s talk about something you can use to make your weekend eventful aside from owambe of course…

Have you ever been caught in the old fashioned truth or dare game? It’s a funny way of making people do what they wouldn’t do ordinarily. One thing I’m sure of, the game leaves you relieved of all tension in the end. Aside from making uncomfortable confessions, you get to have a great laugh. Now who wouldn’t want that?

TRUTH

The game also makes people tell the truth, for some, it is like a bitter pill for them to swallow so they prefer to try a dare. For me, I actually prefer saying the truth, after all, telling it sets us free.

The only reason I’m usually not comfortable with choosing this is that people get to know secrets about you that you’d ordinarily want to be left hidden. If you have too many skeletons in your cupboard, maybe you’ll be happy to pick a dare.

DARE

You want to know a secret? I’ve been dared to give someone a lap dance before. I couldn’t even do it to save my life. That’s why whenever I even so much as come across people playing this aspect of the game, I run from it as fast as my two legs can carry me, at least metaphorically speaking. I don’t want to be told to kiss a total stranger or any of the other dares I would live to regret doing. Are you wondering what I mean by my last phrase? Stop kidding, I know you know.

By now, you must have figured that I’m more comfortable with telling the truth, right? So I’m just going to suggest a few truth questions you might need in your next game.

Here’s a point that is worthy of note:

Whenever you want to ask truth questions, you need to consider a few simple steps:

  1. Make sure you consider your audience: Who you are speaking to matters. It should be a group of people who would be receptive to the truth or dare game.
  2. Also consider your location: You have to pick a time and place where the people you are with are relaxed and eager to have a fun conversation.
  3. Pick the truth question that suits your audience: Very importantly,. choose a question that you believe will both be interesting to the person you are asking and that won’t cause them to be offended.

Once you’ve considered the above, you can ask your questions.

So here goes:

  • When was the last time you lied?
  • Tell us about your last date?
  • What is the most embarrassing thing you’ve been caught doing?
  • Give us a history of your funny escapades while dating?
  • What’s something in your web history that you would be embarrassing if people saw it?
  • Would you do sex for grades if asked?
  • What’s your guilty pleasure?
  • Who’s your celebrity crush?
  • What is your most significant flaw?
