Tampere University in Finland offers a range of scholarships to international students to help cover the costs of tuition and living expenses. These scholarships are intended for high-achieving, motivated students who are accepted into Bachelor’s or Master’s degree programs offered in English at the university.

There are two main types of scholarships available at Tampere University: tuition fee scholarships and Finland scholarships. Tuition fee scholarships cover 100% of tuition fees for the duration of the program, which is three years for Bachelor’s degrees, two years for Master’s degrees, or five years if a student is enrolled in both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s program. Finland scholarships are only available to applicants to Master’s programs and cover the tuition fees for the first year of studies, as well as a 5000 EUR relocation grant. Additionally, recipients of Finland scholarships will receive a Tampere University tuition fee scholarship for the second year of studies, which also covers 100% of tuition fees. In order to retain these scholarships for the duration of their program, students must complete at least 55 credits per academic year and make satisfactory progress in their studies.
In addition to these scholarship options, Tampere University also offers an early bird offer to fee-paying students who are not already receiving a scholarship. This offer gives a 50% reduction on tuition fees for the first year of studies. To take advantage of this offer, students must accept their offered study place and pay 50% of their first year tuition fees within two weeks of receiving their acceptance letter.
