This is a Fully Funded Scholarship in the Netherlands all international students can apply for. Being one of the well-known Scholarship programs, the fully funded Maastricht University Scholarship in Holland 2023 is fully funded by the Dutch Ministry of Netherlands.

This fully funded Maastricht University Scholarship in Holland 2023 is for a 1 Year or 2 Year Master Degree Program only at Maastricht University. There are a lot of opportunities like this HERE. The University will cover all the costs for the full length of the Scholarship Program.

Aside from local people who speak Dutch, the language of the country is mostly English. So you will not have problems with learning in Holland.

Qualification Criteria and Requirements

All Candidates must meet the following criteria for eligibility:

  • You are a citizen in a country outside the EU/EEA, Switzerland, or Surinam and you meet the prerequisites for receiving an entry visa and residence permit for the Netherlands.
  • You do not hold a double nationality from an EU/EEA country.
  • You have applied for admission to a participating full-time master’s program at Maastricht University for the 2023-2024 academic year.
  • You are not older than 35 years of age by the 1st of September 2023.

Necessary Documents

Upload the following documents in .doc, .docx or PDF format, and submit your application. All the guidelines for the letter of motivation, recommendation letter and reference letter are HERE.

  • Curriculum Vitae (Up to Date) and should not be longer than two A4 pages.
  • Letter of motivation. Please use the guidelines for the motivation letter provided on our page HERE.
  • Proof of academic excellence
  • Personal statement of financial needs
  • A reference letter, which you will forward to your referee.
  • Recommendation letters should be dated and written no earlier than February 2022

Step 1: Register for one of the participating master programmes at UM
For further details on how to register for a master programme at the University of Maastricht, please see your prospective programme’s webpage

After you have submitted your application via Studielink, you will receive a student ID number for UM. You will need a student number in order to complete and submit the Scholarship Application Form.

Step 2: Please fill in the application form, you need to log in with your UM account
