Hanken School of Economics offers two fully funded master’s scholarships for aspiring Master’s Students. The Global Business School Network (GBSN) Scholarship which is offered to students or alumni of partnering institutions from developing countries and the Finland Scholarship financed by the Ministry of Education and Culture in Finland is offered to international students from anywhere in the world. These scholarships are based on academic excellence.
Scholarship Benefits
- Both scholarships cover the full tuition fee
- Both Scholarships are for the Master’s study program
- The GBSN scholarship Is renewable for the second year of master’s study, provided all criteria are met while the Finland scholarship is just for the first year
- The GBSN scholarship has a monthly stipend of 8,000 Euros per year for living expenses while the Finland scholarship has a 5,000 Euros relocation grant
- No separate application procedure is required for any of the scholarships
Eligibility criteria
- To be eligible for the GBSN scholarship, you must be a student or alumni of any of the GBSN partner school networks in any of the Eligible Countries: Afghanistan, Brazil, Cambodia, China, Colombia, Egypt, Ghana, India, Kenya, Lebanon, Mexico, Morocco, Nigeria, Peru, Philippines, Pakistan, South Africa, Tunisia, and Turkey.
- Applicants must be offered conditional admission into any degree program at the university to be offered a scholarship.
- Must meet the general admission criteria of your course of study
How to apply
- Applicants must submit an admission application via the university’s online application portal or by completing the application form No separate scholarship application is required.

GRE General test ≥ 158 in the Quantitative Reasoning section

Hanken School of Economics has two admission rounds. The main admission round and the rolling and mission round
- The main admission round 3rd – 17th January 2024
- The rolling admission round is November 1, 2023 – April 26, 2024
