Are you a postgraduate student with a passion for making a difference? The Humanitarian Scholarship is open to international students with Refugee or Asylum Status, or Humanitarian Protection as recognized by the 1951 UN Convention on the Status of Refugees.

- A monthly living stipend to cover living costs while in the UK
- A monthly allowance for accommodation in line with the University Accommodation amount
- Applicants can also choose to stay on campus or in private residences.

Eligibility Criteria
- Please check the list of available courses and the list of countries to be sure you are eligible.
- Have an offer of admission conditional or unconditional for a postgraduate taught program in any of our academic schools, beginning in September 2024.
- Have Refugee or Asylum Status, or Humanitarian Protection as recognised by the 1951 UN Convention on the Status of Refugees.
- All fee status applicants are eligible: Scottish, RUK, EU, International
Our Afghan Women’s Scholarship welcomes applications from:
- Those who hold an academic offer of entry – conditional* or unconditional – for a postgraduate taught program in any of our academic schools, beginning in September 2024. The program must be a full 180-credit postgraduate taught course, on campus;
- Female applicants with Afghan nationality residing outside of Afghanistan at the time of application. The University of Dundee does not encourage applicants who are currently resident in Afghanistan to apply, and the University cannot make any awards to applicants currently resident in Afghanistan.
