Université Paris-Saclay is offering scholarships for the 2024-2025 academic year, aiming to facilitate international student’s access to Master’s programs. Funded by IDEX under the 3rd Program, these scholarships are based on academic achievements and target international students admitted to Master’s programs. The scholarships, lasting 1 or 2 years depending on the admission level (M1 or M2), support students pursuing a Master’s at Université Paris-Saclay, contingent on completing the required credits for the subsequent year of study. The Université Paris-Saclay Scholarships for the academic year 2024-2025 are fully funded master’s scholarships designed for international students. The University Paris Saclay scholarship provides an annual amount of 10,000€. Additionally, candidates may be eligible for a maximum of 1,000€ to cover travel and visa expenses, depending on their country of origin.

Scholarship Coverage

Recipients of the Université Paris-Saclay Scholarships are entitled to the following benefits:

  • Scholarship Amount: The Université Paris-Saclay scholarship is 10,000€ per year.
  • Payment Duration: It is disbursed by Université Paris-Saclay over the academic year, covering a period of 10 consecutive months (September to June).
  • Travel and Visa Expenses: Candidates may receive a maximum of 1,000€ for travel and visa expenses, depending on their country of origin.
  • Disbursement Conditions: Laureates will receive the scholarship and travel expenses upon their arrival in France, specifically after enrolling in the program to which they were admitted.
  • Scholarship Duration: These scholarships are awarded for 1 or 2 years, contingent on the admission level (M1 or M2).
  • Credit Requirement: The scholarship is subject to students completing the required number of credits to advance to the next academic year.

Eligibility Criteria


Are eligible:
1. Students admitted to a Paris-Saclay University Master’s program delivered by one of the following institutions: AgroParisTech, CentraleSupelec, ENS Paris-Saclay, INSTN-CEA, IOGS, UEVE, UPSaclay, UVSQ. Among these students, only those who answer one of the following criteria are eligible to apply:
2. Newly arrived international students, aged 30 and less during the selection year.
3. Students of foreign nationality living on French soil for less than a year, previously or currently enrolled in a training course or internship that does not lead to certification.
4. Students of foreign nationality living on French soil for less than a year, taking language classes (type FFL).
5. Students who have lived in France in the past, within the framework of a mobility program during their studies (e.g. Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Degrees, exchange program…) that did not lead to certification.

Are ineligible:
1. All students who have been or who are enrolled in a French higher education institution during their studies, except international students enrolled in a French higher education institution abroad.
2. Students who have interrupted their studies for more than 3 consecutive years.
3. Students receiving any other type of funding whose amount exceeds 650€ per month.

Together with UNHCR (the UN Refugee Agency) and backed by the MEnS association (Migrants dans l’Enseignement supérieur / Migrants in Higher Education), Paris-Saclay University is implementing a bonus system for refugee students or students with subsidiary protection within the framework of the IDEX  scale of scholarships.

Application Procedure

Follow these application instructions to apply for the scholarship:

  1. Create an Account, and fill out your application on the university’s platform after creating an account using this link.
  2. If selected for a master’s degree program, you will automatically receive an email containing a link to an online application form.
  3. Upon receiving the email, applicants must complete the online form.

Mandatory information includes providing the names of two references (professors, internship coordinators) willing to submit a reference for the candidate.

  1. Each named referee will receive an email with a link to an online recommendation form. Referees are required to complete and submit the form before the scholarship’s call closing date. Automatic notifications will inform the candidate when each reference submits the form.

Note: The application will be considered complete only when both recommendation forms are submitted by the two references.

Note: Candidates won’t receive a confirmation message regarding the completeness of their application.

It is the candidate’s responsibility to ensure both references are complete and submit the form by the deadline specified in the invitation email.

Also, applications lacking completeness or received after the deadline will be automatically rejected.
