Eligibility Criteria
- Admission to a Master’s Programme: You must have been provisionally admitted to one of the qualifying Master’s programmes
- Non-EU/EEA Nationality: The scholarship is only available for students from non-EU/EEA countries.
- Not a University of Twente Graduate: You must not have graduated from a University of Twente undergraduate or graduate programme.
- Student Number: You must have a valid student number from the University of Twente.
- Visa Requirements: If applicable, you must meet the visa and residence permit conditions for studying in the Netherlands.
- English Language Proficiency: You must meet the minimum English test score requirements

Application Documents
- Admission Letter: Proof that you have been provisionally admitted to a qualifying Master’s programme at the University of Twente.
- Student Number: Assigned to you after applying for a Master’s programme at the university.
- Motivation Letter: A well-written statement explaining why you deserve the scholarship, your academic achievements, and your career goals.
- Curriculum Vitae (CV): A detailed CV outlining your academic background, work experience, and relevant extracurricular activities.
- Academic Transcripts: Certified copies of your previous academic records, showing your grades and overall performance.
- English Language Test Results: Proof of meeting the language requirements

Application Process
- Step 1: Apply for a Master’s Programme
Go to the University of Twente website and find a Master’s programme that qualifies for the UTS scholarship. Submit your application for the Master’s programme.
- Step 2: Get Your Admission Letter
If accepted, you will receive a (conditional) admission letter from the university.You will also get a student number (you need this for the scholarship application).
- Step 3: Apply for the UTS Scholarship
After getting your admission letter, apply separately for the UTS scholarship. Fill out the online scholarship application form on the university’s website.
- Step 4: Submit Required Documents
Upload your admission letter, motivation letter, CV, academic transcripts, and English test results.
- Step 5: Wait for the Results
Scholarship results are announced after the application deadline.
