Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be a new international student (not a citizen or permanent resident of New Zealand or Australia).
  • Must be applying for a full-time undergraduate degree, Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip), or master’s programme at the University of Auckland.
  • The programme must be at least one year in duration.
  • Must have excellent academic performance in previous studies.
  • Must have received an unconditional or conditional offer of admission to the University of Auckland.
  • Must not have previously enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree at the University of Auckland.
  • English language proficiency requirements of the university must be met.

Application fee

There is no application fee for the University of Auckland International Student Excellence Scholarship.

  • April 1st, 2025 For Semester 2, 2025 intake
