The announcement for the fully funded GIST University Scholarship in South Korea 2024 has been made. Applications are available.

Applicants from all countries are eligible to apply for the Masters, Master Leading to Ph.D., as well as Doctoral Degree programs. GIST University offers fully funded scholarships. GIST is highly ranked, 4th in South Korea, and comes in the top 100 universities in the world.

It will interest you to know that all international students are awarded the GIST Scholarship without any distinct application. The Scholarship benefits includes tuition Fees, meals, accommodation, monthly stipend, health insurance, and Flight tickets.  And the GIST University does not charge any application fee.   • Master of Science Program (M.S.) – 2 Years

  • The maximum completion times for the M.S., Ph.D., and M.S./Ph.D. programs are three years, seven years, and eight years respectively.

Exemption of English Language Test Proficiency

  • All Courses at GIST University are conducted in English. You can apply without the English language test. If you have been selected, you need to submit your test score later.
  • Also, If you completed your bachelor’s degree in English native English-speaking country (Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the UK, or the USA ), then you are available to apply to GIST without an English Proficiency Test result.
  • Other than that, all applicants must submit an official English proficiency test score, such as TOEFL (IBT, PBT), IELTS, TOEIC, and TEPS.

  • TOEIC: 750

Please note that the GIST University firmly suggests that you acquire the English test score because the Korean Immigration Service may need an English or Korean test score for a VISA application.

  • Official degrees and transcripts are mandated or notarized copies are acceptable.
  • Two letters of recommendation must have the signatures and stamps of the recommenders.
  • The recommenders do not have to send the letters independently or separately.
  • Official English language test report.
  • A copy of the applicant’s passport is required.

  • Submit the online application by uploading the required documents.
  • The International Admissions Coordinator will contact you when the application and all the required documents are confirmed. (Check My Status in the online application)
  • Notification of the admissions results is by November 30, 2023
  • Apply for a student visa.
