Heinrich Böll Foundation in Germany is offers fully funded Master’s Scholarship in Germany to all international students, about 1400 scholarships is awarded every year to students with
Eligible Courses : All subjects

Eligible Countries: all nationalities

The scholarship department of the Heinrich Böll Foundation grants scholarships to graduates, and doctoral students from outside Germany. An application for a scholarship for an undergraduate degree is not possible.

The application deadline is March 1st andSeptember 1st. Please note: We only accept online applications. The application portal will be opened about 6 weeks before the application deadline.

International applicants have to prove their proficiency in German. Good or very good knowledge of the German language is required (at least B2 Level or DSH2).

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION DOCUMENTS

• Scholarship Application form
• University Entrance Qualification (ie WAEC, NECO)
• Degree certificates (certified)
• Student enrolment certificate (ie German University admission offer)
• Written proof of German language proficiency
• A third-party reference on your social commitment (1-2 pages):
• An expert reference from a university or college lecturer (1-2 pages):

4. Download and fill the application form Application Form (in German, PDF)
5. Downlaod the Expert Reference form and send to your reference Expert Reference Form (PDF)
6. Gather information on the application process and the requested documents
7.  Registerfor the online application portal
8. Provide the requested information in the Online Application Portal
9. After uploading all of your documents, submit your application before the end of the application deadline
