FULLY FUNDED SCHOLARSHIP FOR UNDERGRADUATE AND POST-GRADUATE STUDIES AT PEKINS UNIVERSITY, BEIJING

Peking University extends the Peking University Scholarship to exceptional international students enrolling in academic programs at the university.in Beijing. This is a fully funded scholarship for both bachelor, master, and PhD students interested in pursuing their studies at Pekins University.

ABOUT THE SCHOLARSHIP

This fully funded Scholarship for international students is divided into two categories: full and partial scholarships. The full scholarship encompasses tuition fees, a monthly stipend (inclusive of a living allowance), and medical insurance. Meanwhile, the partial scholarship exclusively covers only tuition fees.

The monthly stipend is distributed as follows:

• Undergraduate: 2000 CNY/month
• Postgraduate: 2500 CNY/month
• PhD: 3000 CNY/month

The scholarship duration varies:

• Undergraduate: 1 year
• Master’s program: 2-3 years
• PhD: 4 years
• Direct PhD: 5 years

Eligibility Criteria

1. Applicants must be individuals without Chinese citizenship and must be in good health.
2. Applicants must have received an admission offer to study at Peking University as an international student.
3.  Applicants should not have secured any other scholarship funding.
4.  Students enrolled in professional degree programs, joint degree programs, and English-taught programs are not eligible to apply.

How to apply

• Apply for your degree or postgraduate degree program on or before the 31st of January 2024. 
• Visit the Pekins University Online Application System when it opens, click on Scholarship Application, complete the application form, and submit the application form.
• Submit the letter of appeal in person or mail it before the deadline.
• The committee will evaluate the applications.
• The list of selected candidates will undergo final review.
• The list of successful candidates will be publicly announced.

Scholarship recipients are required to undergo an annual appraisal in April each year to continue enjoying the scholarship for the following year.
