Details of the scholarship

The Studentship offers:

  3. Other allowances including travel, visa, Immigration, and Health will be considered on a need basis.

Eligibility criteria

To qualify for consideration, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  1. Possess a conditional offer of admission to the University of Cambridge for any degree.
  2. Originate from an area characterized by instability or conflict.
  3. Be, or have been exposed to the risk of discrimination, persecution, suffering, violence, or other human rights abuses.

Note: It is not a prerequisite for applicants to have Refugee status.

Application procedure

To be considered for this studentship, applicants must take the following steps:

For postgraduate applicants:

  1. Apply by the funding deadline applicable to the chosen course, securing conditional admission to the University of Cambridge.
  2. Select the option to apply for funding and complete the Cambridge Trust section within the online application form through the University’s Applicant Portal.
  3. Submit a distinct Rowan Williams application form by January 31, 2024.

  1. Apply for admission to the University of Cambridge through the standard UCAS application process by the specified deadline.
  2. If offered conditional admission by Cambridge College, fill out the scholarship application for undergraduate studies provided by the Cambridge Trust (sent by the College upon conditional offer), which includes a personal statement outlining how they meet the eligibility criteria.

The application deadline is  January 31, 2024.
